TRIVIA
- The pink markings visible inside Mallowmint aren't actually markings. They're semi-liquid, wax-like globs suspended throughout her body. The globs constantly move, although usually slowly enough that somebody has to watch for a few seconds to notice. They circulate faster when Mallowmint is excited, embarrassed or physically warm. When she's calm, sleepy or relaxed, they form larger, slower-moving blobs.
- Cold temperatures cause the pink material to thicken and move more slowly. Mallowmint herself becomes sluggish at the same time. Because of this, Mallowmint absolutely hates the winter.
- Mallowmint's friends can sometimes work out how she's feeling just by looking at the movement inside her body. She finds this incredibly unfair.
- Mallowmint's body is noticeably warmer to the touch than most Sparkleland residents. She's therefore extremely popular with cold friends during winter.
- Her body emits a very faint pastel glow in darkness. It isn't bright enough to properly illuminate a room, but she's easy to spot once someone's eyes adjust. The glow becomes stronger when she's excited.
- Her long antennae are highly sensitive to temperature, air movement and low-frequency vibrations. Extremely bass-heavy music therefore feels particularly intense to her, and she usually leaves the room if one of her friends is producing bass-heavy music.
- Mallowmint's tail contains a particularly large concentration of the wax-like material and usually has the most obvious visible movement. She can consciously influence the movement a little, but not enough to precisely arrange the blobs wherever she wants. She's tried making recognizable shapes with them anyway. Her personal record is something that vaguely resembled a heart for about 3 seconds.
- Her love for oversized clothing isn't only an aesthetic choice. Loose clothing is more comfortable because her body temperature changes slightly throughout the day.
